The first ESSARTS experience
happened in may 2000. The artists who participated had in commom a tight
bond with the Ricard-Tessier family. Daria González, a young Mexican sculptor, is the wife of Pierrot Tessier, the son of the hosts; and Patricia Brennan, a senior sculptor from Ontario, is a long-standing friend of the family. Pierre Tessier participated in this first aventure as a sculptor and also as a guide and technician. So, it is with a spririt of conviviality and sharing that Essarts Spring 2000 occured.
